About Us

WHO WE ARE

Hope4Child Relief Mission Inc. is a registered Canadian charity focused on improving the lives of children-in-need globally. Hope4Child presently supports a myriad of educational, nutritional, and livelihood programs in Sri Lanka, providing economic and social opportunity to many communities-in-need. All board members of Hope4Child are volunteers who donate their time and services with no compensation.

IMMEDIATE SUPPORT

To support local community-based organizations that care for orphans & vulnerable children by assisting in providing for immediate needs including: food, medical care, clothing, shelter, education, & job training.

PRIORITY OF A FAMILY

A caring family is the ideal environment for every child. However, for war-affected children in Sri Lanka this is not always possible. Hope4Child’s programs place an emphasis on finding long-term permanent care for vulnerable children within nurturing & family-like environments.

CULTURAL SENSITIVITY

Hope4Child collaboratively works locally-established partners & organizations that are immersed in their communities and recognized as strong providers of child support for the vulnerable in order to maximize their on-the-ground effectiveness.

SELF-SUSTAINABILITY

Hope4Child partners with & empowers community-based organizations to create & facilitate sustainable, self-operated programs that are backed by all local stakeholders.
