Counselling Programs
Hope4Child has financed the set-up and ongoing operation of a respite home in Jaffna for children who have been socially/sexually abused. Operations include full care/counselling while a child stays at the home, along with all basic shelter/living needs. Program: Kuyilaham Respite Home with our partner LEADS in Jaffna.
Education Programs
Hope4Child has financed the purchase, construction, renovation, furnishing, and operation of educational facilities across the North & East to provide tuition & technological programs for underprivileged elementary & high school students (Kindergarten to A/L). The facilities are run in partnership with YGRO with food & nutrition provided.
Tuition & Scholarship Programs
Hope4Child has provided educational scholarships and vocational programs to war-affected students who have gained entrance to post-secondary educational programs at Universities in Sri Lanka and India along with english language scholarships.
Livelihood Programs
In partnership with YGRO, Hope4Child has provided a livelihood program for war-affected widows and their families. Families were given livestock, including cows, to tend to along with all necessary equipment/support which provided basic ongoing income for the family. Programs/Locations: Northern Livelihood Program, Badulla, Kandy, Matar, Mannar
