Hope4Child is working with our established partners to offer a scholarship program to students with demonstrated need looking to enter university or vocational schools in Sri Lanka. Primarily working in the Northern & Eastern regions – this scholarship program hopes to bridge the gap that many young people are facing with struggling to be able to pay and get started with a post-secondary education. This program aims to empower students who seek assistance to better their future prospects for themselves, their families and communities through education.

About The Scholarship Program
Hope4Child is excited to launch the creation of a Post-Secondary Scholarship Fund for Sri Lankan students pursuing university or vocational training. Working with our established partners in the Northern & Eastern regions – the program aims to provide support for students with disadvantaged upbringings who don’t have the resources to get started with a post-secondary education. We believe that by investing in scholarships, we can empower students to better their future prospects for themselves, their families, and their communities. This program is meant to be an investment into making our recipient communities more self-sustainable.
The scholarships will ensure that each recipient student has the necessary funds to cover their tuition expenses and additional costs covered – including living costs, books, and tuition (if applicable).
All scholarship recipients will be provided with access to mentorship resources and a mentorship support network facilitated by the Hope Child Scholarship Committee.

How It Works
1) Students will fill out an application form and submit it to Hope4Child during the relevant application period.
2) Applications will be reviewed and evaluated by the Hope4Child Scholarship Committee. There will be an interview process for selected candidates.
3) Once candidate student selections have been finalized, funds will be dispersed on a semi-annual basis, and subject to ongoing academic performance.
4) Financial oversight and progress reporting will be conducted and completed on an ongoing and consistent basis, to ensure that the academic status of all recipients is kept up to date.
How to Donate!
We are incredibly excited about this opportunity and to invest in the long-term future of these promising youth. Thank you for your support!
